How to unlock passwords or passcode on MMCS 1 or 2.
Many people have trouble connecting the hand-free module because HFM is locked, and don’t know the 4-digit password or forget it. Two different radio units What are MMCS1 and MMCS2 looking the same but are a little bit different, both have a secret menu or hidden menu.
How to enter the hidden menu?
MMCS 1: press and hold two buttons at the same time for more than 4 seconds the SETTINGS and MAP buttons, until enters the service menu and we can see more options, select the hand-free module and unlock the tab on the bottom, now is unlock the hand free module.
MMCS 2: press and hold two buttons at the same time for more than 4 seconds the INFO/SET and SEEK TRACK buttons, until enters the service menu and we can see more options, select the hand-free module and unlock the tab on the bottom, now is unlock the hand free module.
We can see more options here but just big careful with them because we can set some options that are not sure really healthy 🙂 some models show the real mileage.
