Click click or cracking nose? it’s annoying, isn’t it?
Many drivers just notice strange clicking noise from the brakes or nowhere when driving slowly or changing direction from forwards to backwards or backward to forwards, confuses many people because of similar knocking noise like the driveshaft joint click nose, this is the brake pads clips give noise when the pads move. The pads seat on the clips and slip on when we push the brake, if the clips have weakened or corrosion at that time make a clicking noise it can be front or rear as well.
What you can do?
So on the clips, we can find corrosion, which the dealer normally replaces with new or cleans off but recommend replacing with new and the noise is gone.
